SEVENTEEN's Jun is preparing to make his solo debut in China.
On September 25, the singer released a new cinematic teaser for his 1st Chinese EP '9.' In the short clip, Jun is seen watching a crowd of people walking past in a haze.
'9' is inspired by the Chinese folk legend of the "Nine-Lives Cat Demon" (九命猫妖), which tells of a cat that gains nine tails after undergoing spiritual cultivation and eventually achieves immortality.
The number '9' also represents the Chinese character '久,' which symbolizes eternity. It conveys the idea of approaching completion through the accumulation of time and repeated cultivation.
Meanwhile, Jun is set to release '9' on September 28 at 11 KST.
